Physical Education

Our developmentally appropriate Physical Education program at Mizel Day School includes: movement skills, fitness, rhythms, cooperative games, sports, and self-concept development. Fostering lifetime activity is an important focus of the program.

Our younger students engage in opportunities to develop fine and gross motor skills. They practice responsible and self-directed behaviors that lead to positive social interactions in physical activities.

Each student is encouraged to progress to his or her potential in the following areas: body management, basic skills, games, and special activities. Younger students will be introduced to basic sport skills while older students become more involved on advanced levels.
